Foreign Languages
At Astor International School, foreign language classes are offered by choice, giving students the opportunity to learn languages they are genuinely interested in. We believe that motivation and engagement are key to successful language learning, which is why we let students and families choose the languages they wish to pursue.

To ensure quality and consistency, our minimum class size is four students. This approach allows us to group together students who are committed to learning the language, creating a more focused and productive learning environment. All language classes are run twice a week and all students must attend both classes.

As of August 2025 we are offering four foreign languages: Mandarin, French, Spanish and Russian.

If language you are looking for is not currently offered, please write to admissions@astor.edu.sg. If there is sufficient demand for a language, we will find a qualified teacher and run the class.
Mandarin

French

Spanish
