Shannon de Winnaar

Mrs. Shannon is a South African born Australian who has been living in Singapore for 5 years. She has a Bachelor of Education with a major in Mathematics from Notre Dame University, Australia. Mrs. Shannon holds a certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Melbourne. She has experience working with Australian, British, American, and International Baccalaureate curricula, in Western Australia, London, and Singapore.

Mrs. Shannon believes that working in education is a privilege, and feels fortunate to be part of a field that shapes young lives every day. She is passionate about developing each child’s potential through hands-on, inquiry-based teaching and learning.

She strives to create a school environment where children feel safe to share their ideas, take risks, and confidently explore new challenges. Her approach fosters curiosity, independence, and a genuine love for learning within a supportive and nurturing community.
